宣统元宝是清朝货币名，是宣统年间发行的宣统年号银圆。宣统三年大清银币为前清之正式国币，原期辛亥十月发行。尚未发行，武昌事起，国体忽变。两广总督张之洞曾于光绪十三年（1887年）委托使英大臣在英国订购全套造币机器，并在广东钱局首铸机制银元和铜元。其后，各省纷纷仿效，购制国外机械铸造银、铜元。
此枚广东省造宣统元宝库平七钱二分。大小合适，尺寸颇佳。钱币正面珠圈内铸满汉文“宣统元宝”，珠圈外上环铸刻“广东省造”，下环铸“库平七钱二分”，字体端庄工整，挺拔俊秀，笔法流畅，十分俊美。钱币背面中心为蟠龙图案，纹理清晰，线条优美，龙麟细腻，定睛一看犹如一条翱翔天际的神龙，让人叹为观止。背面上环英文:KWANG-TUNG PROVINCE(广东省)，下环依旧镌刻英文:7MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS (库平七钱二分)，左右各铸十字星，小巧精美，玲珑可爱，艺术价值极高。藏品有自然的银锈，品相完好，形制规整，质地优良，字体笔法流畅，纹饰刻制工细。此种钱币存世量稀少，具有很高的收藏价值！
